“Hold my hand, Kim!” Luke suggested in his adorable Australian accent as Kim navigated the bumpy sidewalk in her high heeled shoes. Kim turned to me and smiled while saying “I like to joke that I always want to hold his hand so he can catch me when I trip.” Luke laughed and nodded his head in agreement. The way he looked at Kim said it all – he was more than willing to catch her – now and whenever she needed catching for the rest of their lives.
Luke and Kim’s intimate wedding is fast approaching and I am so excited to have the privilege of capturing their day. They are such kind and friendly people with a genuine love for one another’s personalities and quirks. It is going to be a beautiful wedding and I am so thankful to be a part of it!
Luke and Kim share a love of coffee so we started their engagement session off with a stop at an adorable coffee shop in Long Beach, Polly’s Gourmet Coffee.
How fun are these Anthropologie monogrammed mugs Kim brought?
Kim used to live really close to where we were taking photos, so we decided to walk by the apartment where she was living when she first started dating Luke.
After a walk through the neighborhood, we made a quick trip to the nearby beach.
Fact: Kim is gorgeous.
Luke and Kim, you’re adorable. Your wedding day is going to be amazing and I can’t wait!
