There is something so magical about holding a newborn baby in your arms … precious is the only word that even comes close to describing it. And Baby Zoey is more than precious. She is pure wonderment. She was 13 days old when the photos below were taken. Tiny, sweet, and oh so alert! She made us work for these pictures, but she was worth every single ounce of effort. Sara, James, and big sister Bella, congratulations on your beautiful new addition! I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Stephanie and Trevor are parents who want their baby daughter Lucy to grow up with morals, a strong faith in God, and a community of people who love and cherish her. This past Sunday they gathered that community together at The Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes Estates so that Lucy could be Christened. Lucy is seven months old and a little bundle of smiles and joy. She is tiny, adorable, and all around perfect. Lucy has the best personality and barely even whimpered the entire time we were together, including when the pastor splashed the water on her head! I was impressed. I was also impressed with the palpable love in the church from the family members and friends of Stephanie and Trevor. Lucy is so blessed to have so many people who love her and to have such wonderful parents. Stephanie and Trevor showed care and concern for each other and Lucy the entire time I spent with them and they are clearly parents who are over the moon about their daughter.

Stephanie and Trevor, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this special day in Lucy’s life. I feel very privileged to know you all and I am so excited to watch Lucy grow! I hope you enjoy your photos!

Isn’t that hat the cutest thing ever?

Lucy a.k.a. Popeye!

Right after the pastor splashed her with water. I can just see her thinking “Hey, what was that for?”

Lucy’s hair is AWESOME.

I think they like her. A lot.

My favorite picture of the day.
